2025 COMMUNITY MEETINGS
The Mary E. Bivins Foundation hosted eight community meetings in September and October of 2025 in Amarillo, Borger, Childress, Clarendon, Dalhart, Hereford, Pampa, and Perryton. The purpose of the meetings was to (1) share information on Senior Hunger Solutions; (2) have conversations around the recent 2025 Program Provider Survey Results and add depth to those findings; and (3) discuss next steps for the Foundation in supporting organizations and older adults.

2024 COMMUNITY MEETINGS
The Mary E. Bivins Foundation hosted community meetings in February and March of 2024 in Amarillo, Borger, Childress, Clarendon, Dalhart, Hereford, Pampa, and Perryton. The purpose of the meetings was to (1) share about the work that the Bivins Foundation has been doing the past few years; (2) share resources that organizations working to address hunger and food insecurity can use; and (3) provide an opportunity for networking and collaboration. ​Click here to see the agenda for those meetings.

​2022 COMMUNITY MEETINGS
The Mary E. Bivins Foundation hosted community meetings in April of 2022 in Borger, Childress, Clarendon, Dalhart, Hereford, and Perryton. The purpose of the meetings was to (1) share some of the work that the Bivins Foundation has been doing the past few years regarding food insecurity in older adults and (2) gain a better understanding of the challenges that are faced by organizations and individuals working to address the issue.
There were 30 unique participants that represented community organizations that provided a feeding service to older adults. Most of the organizations represented had a food pantry, congregate meal, or home delivered meal service. Click here to see the results from the conversations.
