Using information from the Census Bureau's American Community Survey and Feeding America's Map the Meal Gap, the Mary E. Bivins Foundation regularly updates data available on the estimated number of food insecure older adults by county.

There is an estimated number of 11,879 adults age 65 and older who are food insecure in the Texas Panhandle.
