Caregiver Support

It can be extremely challenging to be a caregiver whether you are a family caregiver providing assistance to a loved one in the home every day, a friend or neighbor looking out for someone, or maybe offering support to an aging parent who may live in a different city or state. For whatever your caregiver relationship may be and whatever providing care looks like for you, know that there are resources to help.

For more information or questions about the resources below, contact each organization directly.

Adult Day Care

There are two organizations in the Amarillo-area offering a place for older adults to go during the day for services and socialization. These centers can be a great option for caregivers who are needing respite or a place for their loved one to be while they are at work. They are also a great option for individuals who are looking to not be at home alone and who are wanting to spend time with other people in a welcoming environment.
